Why, yes! Yes they can. Friend and colleague Andrea Roberts of Andrea Roberts Photography in Columbus, OH, recently had the opportunity to beta test the fabulous new photo texturing program from Totally Rad Actions called Dirty Pictures. Lucky me – she used one of my photos in the process. Below is a before and after.
Clean…

Dirty…

Take a look at Andrea’s blog to see a variety of applications on images from fabulous photographers from across the country. Sometimes, getting dirty is a good thing!

Finally getting around to sharing some photos here of little Seneca. I always think of the children’s tale Babes in the Woods when I think of her because her family lives in a house nestled neatly in the woods. Unfortunately, the weather on the day of her session was not very newborn friendly so we didn’t get to venture out of doors. She was a sweet little model, nonetheless. Congrats again to the new parents on your beautiful addition!

I immediately had a fondness for this little one since she has the same name as my youngest niece. Indeed, she proved to be a sweetheart. Some babies do lots of crying, some do lots of yawning… Anelise did lots of smiling, especially when mom and dad held and kissed her. Gotta love that!

This little darling was 3 weeks old (!) for her session and she was a fabulous model. Well…Dad may have gotten his clothes a little wet once or twice…or thrice? He was a good sport, nonetheless, and I was able to capture the sweetness, the sleepiness, and the bonding with her big “sisters”.

Thanks again to Mom and Dad for the opportunity to photograph your little sweetheart!

It’s always fun to catch up with return clients as their families grow. Recently I got to revisit a great family after they welcomed their second daughter into the world. I had photographed big sister when she was just 6 weeks old and now it was time for little sis at less than two weeks old!

Congratulations G family!

It seems that when it comes to newborns, I’ll have a string of boys and then a string of girls, and back and forth it goes. So here is #3 in my string of at least 4 newborn girls. Thanks to Mom and Dad for letting me spend the morning with your little one!

I hope all of my mommy clients were able to relax and enjoy Mother’s Day this past weekend – I know I did! I’ve really been keeping a new mom waiting for a sneak peak at her photos, though I imagine she’s been consumed mostly with her new parenting role and a quest for more sleep. So, without further ado…

Thanks so much to the proud parents for letting me into your home to capture these precious moments of your sweet baby’s life!

Meet little Henry. I loved this little guy…tiny, furry, and quiet. I don’t think he had any idea that he was being such a good model for me, but I appreciate it, nonetheless.

Congrats again to the new mom and dad – thank you for letting me share your new little bundle!

Please welcome little Keesler – at just 4 days old he was already expressing his big personality! Here are some of my favorite shots from his session…

Congrats to the new parents on your beautiful baby boy!

Meet Estella! I took a little trip south to photograph this sweet baby girl…

I think she was worth it!
