It was my pleasure to photograph these sweet sisters as they are just getting to know each other. I can only imagine the wonderful times that they will share together as the years go on.

Congratulations again to the proud parents on your growing family!
And a quick reminder that nominations are still going on for the 2010 Parents’ Picks Awards – you can nominate me here!

I’ve truly enjoyed the sessions I’ve done with this lovely family…

Thank you for welcoming me into your lives to document such special times.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in The Nursery Contest and to all of you who took the time to cast your vote!
It was a fairly close race, but we have a winner with 31% of the votes…Nursery #3! Congratulations – I’ll be in touch with you to book your session!

Yikes – here it is 2010 and I’m already off and running with sessions! Before I get into posting my most recent sessions, I thought I’d share some from the end of ‘09 that I never got a chance to post. I’d like to say that one of my resolutions for 2010 is to be a more reliable blogger, but I don’t want to jinx myself! So, let’s just say that I look forward to meeting lots of new faces in the coming year and sharing them with all of you.
In the meantime, Miss Eleni – no stranger to the seedlings blog, but this time with greater mobility and just a little bit more sass!

Thanks to the K family and all of my 2009 clients for a wonderful year!

So thrilled to have another session with this fabulous and beautiful family! I met Sam as a newborn last year and he sure has grown into SUCH a cutie! I have to be careful with what I share here this time of year as most clients want to save pics for their holiday cards, but I thought I could get away with showing these few. This first one especially cracks me up…

Yeah, mom is gorgeous right? Not only do I get to see the babies grow up…I get to see women grow to be beautiful mothers and men grow to be proud fathers. My job is good.
Thanks so much to the H family for inviting me to see how you’ve grown!
where big brother pretends he doesn’t want to get too close to the little sister who just adores him to pieces. But the love is there and I can just see these two several years from now when things have changed… little sister has a line of would-be suitors and suddenly big brother wants to stay really close to protect her. I wonder if she’ll still adore him then? Either way, I’m sure that sibling love will still be strong on the inside. Here are a just a few of these two beautiful, joyful siblings whom I had the privilege of capturing recently.

Thanks so much to the T family for having me come play for bit!
I hope to post more from this session, but wanted to get something up to show Mama since I’m pretty sure she’s been anxiously awaiting a peek at them. So here is Miss A… growing up fast!

This was her a year ago…

Sigh….where does the time go?
~Jennifer
Yes, it snowed off and on for most of the day today and I’m afraid we won’t have another warm weather day for a few months. Before things turned cold, I did get to do another session outdoors featuring these two adorable siblings. We ended up having a beautiful November day to play outside and toss the fallen leaves.

So, I often get questions about my own son during a session. He’s soon to be two years old and, of course, the cutest boy on earth
. However, that cuteness manages to evade my lens pretty darn well – a case of Photographer’s Child Syndrome, if you will. In my child’s case, he just wants to be behind the lens like Mama but I think it will be a little while before he can truly function as my assistant. All that aside, I managed to capture some cuteness between him and his equally adorable girlfriend on a recent outing. Granted, his back was to me, but maybe she is just the distraction I need to get more shots of the little stinker. Anyway, I couldn’t resist sharing and hopefully these will give you a slightly better visual of my own little seedling.

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of capturing this little cutie for her annual Fall photos. A lovely time of year to head outside for pictures before the weather turns cold in these parts. First, I got to play with her at her home…

and then the whole family went to the park…

Miss H was all about playing despite rosy cheeks and frozen fingers, so our session ending up being rather long. But that just meant I was able to get some lovely shots like this one…
I love Fall!
