Please join me in welcoming adorable Baby A! Her mama appeared on the blog just a few weeks ago and now it is baby’s turn to take the spotlight. Congratulations Mama and Papa!

I’ve finally had some time to devote to personal family pictures. I had a little session with my niece earlier this summer (much earlier) and am finally getting around to going through all of them (my poor sister gets the slowest turnaround time from me). Here are a few faves so far.

Some good friends of mine recently welcomed home a beautiful baby girl and I had the pleasure of photographing her. From the first camera phone images I saw of this little one, I decided that she was a little dumpling and now that I’ve gotten to meet her I think the moniker will stick – at least for a little while. Little Madeline started out as a busy little girl during the photo session… she just wanted to stretch and observe her new world.

But once I brought my swaddling blankets on the scene, she knew just what to do…
