It’s hard to believe that this week means back to school for most kids – how did that happen?! We’re still in summer mode around here, taking it easy for a little while longer before the busy Fall season is upon us (if you are expecting a Fall baby and hoping for a newborn session, contact me now!).

As always, I’m also playing catch up on the blog – more newborn goodness…

At long last…the winner of my nursery contest! Not only was her nursery lovely, Elliott was a treat to work with. She had the happy baby personality, amazing blue eyes, and an infectious smile – we had a great time!

This little guy was sooo tiny and precious…and hairy, which I love! With this job, I suppose I’ve gotten used to seeing and holding brand new babies quite frequently, but somehow the tiny little bits (even the hair) are just as amazing with each new life.

If ever I have seen a perfectly round belly…I think this is it…filled with a perfectly sweet baby boy whom I’ve already had the pleasure to meet!

In case you haven’t heard, the new film Babies hits Pittsburgh (and many other cities) this weekend – opening tonight! The film follows the first year in the lives of four babies from around the world – I think it will be a fabulous peek into different cultures and who knows…maybe you’ll learn some new parenting tricks! You can check out the trailer here.

Babies is showing in Pittsburgh at the Manor Theater on Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill. I’m looking forward to going!
